U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, “Arctic Angels,” jump from a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules during airborne operations over Malemute Drop Zone at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 7, 2022. The aircrew and aircraft were assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 out of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. The Arctic Angels stay proficient at their primary function of being a Joint Forcible Entry unit, able to respond and project power across the Pacific within 18 hours.
