Pvt. Gage Lopez of Auburn, Illinois, an infantryman assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry Regiment, was on hand for the ABE’s Rumble IHSA Class 1A team wrestling tournament Dec. 30, 2022 at the BOS Center in Springfield. Lopez met his Illinois Army National Guard recruiter at the event last year and wanted others to know about the opportunities in the National Guard.
