Spc. Justin Schneider, a UH-60 helicopter repairer, Delta Company, 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment (MEDEVAC), performs maintenance on the tail landing gear of a Black Hawk helicopter at the NH National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility, Concord, on Jan. 7.
Preventative and routine maintenance for these helicopters happens every 30 days. It is an essential task to keep equipment working in optimal conditions, leading to fewer failures, better productivity and improved safety. Schneider, who has been a UH-60 Helicopter Repairer for five and a half years, enjoys the meticulous and rewarding work of keeping these Black Hawks ready to fly. Photo by Spc.
