SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 6, 2023) – U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Alex Ollier, a joint fires observer with Air Naval Gun Liaison Company, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sets up Link-16 capabilities aboard amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Jan. 6. A force in readiness, the 13th MEU trains to rapidly respond to crises in all domain environments through naval power projection. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
