220112-N-NT795-841 LONG BEACH, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2022) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11 and Navy Cargo Handling Battalion (NCHB) 14 conduct a lifting configuration for a 34-foot Sea Arc patrol boat during a lift on-lift off (LO-LO) training aboard SS Cape Inscription (T-AKR-5076) at the Port of Long Beach, Calif., Jan. 12. NCHB delivers expeditionary logistics capabilities with mobilization-ready Navy Reserve Force Sailors and equipment to combatant commanders in support of the national military strategy critical for peacekeeping, crisis response, humanitarian, and combat service support missions. MESF is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
