OKINAWA, Japan (Jan. 18, 2023) Airman Camden Brooks, left, from Boston, assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), and Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) 3rd Class Casey Reynolds, from Los Angeles, also assigned to Green Bay, hoist the ensign during morning colors on one of the ship’s weather decks. Green Bay, part of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (ME), is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance its interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
