A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (VMM 266), hoist a U.S. Air Force pararescueman, assigned to the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, after recovering a pilot from the Gulf of Aden Dec. 3, 2022 during exercise Bull Shark. Exercise Bull Shark is a personnel recovery exercise involving members of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, U.S. Navy, the Djiboutian Coast Guard, Spanish Navy, and Spanish Special Operations Maritime Task Unit, aimed to strengthen interoperability between like-minded partners in the region.
