“I was born and raised in Illinois. I’ve been to a lot of places, but there wasn’t a lot to do there. It was mainly just farming and construction. I joined the Marine Corps for a lot of reasons. I wanted to do something new, travel, and see the world. From joining the Marine Corps, I’ve been able to do so. I’ve learned the importance of responsibility, management, and respect. I love how important my job is to operations in general. You can’t go anywhere without fuel.”
