A M888 High Explosive (HE) mortar is prepared with a Flex Linear Shaped Charge explosive in order conduct low order techniques during a partnered training event, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 19, 2023. Explosive ordnance technicians assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and Marine Wing Support Squadron 271 collaborated on this training to maintain their skills and confidence while in a field environment.
