U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Maurice O. Barnett (left), commanding general of 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, placed the unit patch on Col. Bruce A. Bredlow’s sleeve, during a patch ceremony held on Jan. 24, 2023 at the Community Activity Center Sembach Kaserne, Germany. Bredlow serves as the Commander of the 52rd Air Defense Artillery Brigade. He and Master Sergeant Irvine, senior enlisted advisor, 52D ADA BDE, received their patches in front of the 52D ADA BDE during the ceremony. The newly activated brigade adds U.S. contribution to NATO Allies’ and partner nations ground-based air defense in the European theater as well as increases interoperability.
