U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Utah Army National Guard, walk single file to an awaiting UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter from the 1-211th Aviation Battalion, for their static line jump on January 21, 2023 near Camp Williams, Utah. A static line jump is where a cord is attached at one end to the aircraft while the other end is attached to the top of the jumper's chute. When the parachutist falls from the aircraft it causes the static line to become tight and pulls the parachute out of the container on the jumper’s back. (Utah Army National Guard photo by Spc.
