PACIFIC OCEAN (NOV. 24, 2022) – U.S. Marines with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit eat candy apples during a Thanksgiving Day celebration aboard the amphibious transport dock USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Nov. 24. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and the amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and the John P.
