U.S. Airmen from the 165th Air Support Operations Squadron conduct a tactical ruck at Townsend Bombing Range, Georgia, while working as a sensing and effects team during exercise Sunshine Rescue on Jan. 24, 2023. Sunshine Rescue exercise trains Airmen on leading edge Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) capabilities for next generation warfighting. During this exercise, Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) and Pararescue (Guardian Angel) Airmen will utilize advanced communication and command and control technologies to simulate warfighting in highly contested environments.
