Stressing a grasp of the need…Cmdr. Boyce (Randy) Gire, Expeditionary Medical Facility Bravo executive officer, addressed recently Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Bremerton doctors, nurses and hospital corpsmen assigned to EMF Bravo to discuss preparation and training requirements if they are called upon to respond to any current and future requirements. “Our EMF could be deployed because of weather and/or a natural disaster. It could be deployed in a peace mission. But it also could be deployed in major combat operations. That’s what an EMF is designed for. When we’re told, “prepare to deploy,” we’re the one who are going to go,” stressed Gire (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
