Patrick Allie, director of the Rock Island Arsenal Army Museum in Illinois, has the Army museum profession in his blood. His father ran the Frontier Army Museum at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for 25 years and was museum chief over the National Infantry Museum and Armor and Cavalry Museum at Fort Benning, Georgia. His earliest memories were spent running around Army museums.
