Brig. Gen. Stanley E. Budraitis, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker deputy commanding general, receives the Legion of Merit from Maj. Gen. Michael C. McCurry, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker commander, Jan. 30, 2023, at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Budraitis is a Mississippi Army National Guard Soldier, the first Army National Guard aviator and general officer to serve as Rucker's full-time deputy commanding general.
