U.S. Navy Sailors all assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), serve ice cream to Sailors and Marines during a karaoke and ice cream social while onboard the USS America in the Philippine Sea, Jan. 29, 2023. The event was held to increase cohesion and strengthen joint-force partnership between the Sailors and Marines. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
