William Betts, commander of the 378th Air Expeditionary Squadron, speaks during the 908th Expeditionary Air Refeuling Squadron change of command ceremony at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Feb. 1, 2023. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Michael Deprey relinquished command. The primary purpose of a change of command is for subordinates to witness an officer formally assume responsibility, authority and accountability for the unit.
