U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (2nd MAW), finish testing a CH-53K King Stallion at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Feb. 2, 2023. MAG-29 is a subordinate unit of 2nd MAW, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF). U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Brian W. Cavanaugh, the Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command commander, and respective leadership visited II MEF to tour subordinate commands, discuss capabilities, innovations and meet with Marines.
