U.S. Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, operate Amphibious Combat Vehicles during a certification exercise off the coast of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 3, 2023. The CERTEX was conducted in order to certify 3rd AA Bn. for ship-to-shore and vehicle recovery operations.
