Andrew Laidler, the former executive officer of Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Oakland (LCS 24), from Hanover, Massachusetts, walks across the mission bay as the crew of Oakland salutes him off the ship during the executive officer’s turnover aboard Oakland at Changi Naval Base, Singapore, Feb. 3, 2023.
