U.S. Air Force Outside the Wire Pre-deployment Training students de-escalate a simulated threat to maintain security at a defensive fighting position during training at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Feb. 6, 2023. This tactics training allows students to practice preparing and defending a position in high risk scenarios they may encounter when deployed.
