Military personnel, DoD civilians, and Hawaii community members volunteered their time in a massive cleanup effort along Lualualei Naval Road, near the Lualualei Naval Annex in Nanakuli. Boats, jet skis, tires, and other bulk junk was collected - totaling to over 15 tons cleared from the 6 mile stretch of road, that has gained notoriety as an illegal dumping ground.
