SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (Feb. 6, 2023) – U.S. Army Gen. Laura Richardson, the commander of U.S. Southern Command, holds a press conference with Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves Robles where they announced a series of U.S. funded security assistance donations totaling $13.7 million that will enhance the nation’s ability to combat narco-trafficking and other threats.
