Retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 5 Phillip Brashear gives a presentation to the crew of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), Feb. 7, 2023, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Phillip Brashear is the son of Carl Brashear, the first African-American U.S. Navy Master Diver and the first amputee to serve as a U.S. Navy diver.
