SILVER SPRING, Md. (Feb. 10, 2023) Kamarri Norris, a contractor supporting the Military Health System GENESIS transition, provides training to Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) staff. The training familiarizes clinicians and diagnostic lab personnel with the new military health record system, which will replace the legacy system when it goes live on March 25. In support of the Navy, Marine Corps, and joint U.S. warfighters, NMRC researchers study infectious diseases, biological warfare detection and defense, combat casualty care, environmental health concerns, aerospace and undersea medicine, medical modeling, simulation, operational mission support, epidemiology and behavioral sciences.
