NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Feb. 10, 2023) The fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196) receives two million gallons of fuel, Feb. 10, 2023, from Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay to support the multinational humanitarian disaster relief efforts following a series of earthquakes that struck central-southern Turkey on Feb. 6, 2023. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation which enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and Partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
