Former Army Staff Sgt. Frank DeRosa, a World War II 793rd Military Police Battalion veteran, delivers remarks before the battalion cases its colors. Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 793rd MP marked an impending nine-month deployment to Afghanistan during an Oct. 12, 2012, deployment ceremony at JBER's Buckner Physical Fitness Center. HHD will function as the headquarters for other companies from other states, and the consolidated unit will be known as Task Force Spartan.
