A U.S. Air Force aircraft maintainer assigned to the 119th Wing assists in positioning an MQ-9 Reaper onto jacks to prepare for a landing gear swing, during Cope North at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 9, 2023. Placing the aircraft onto jacks allows the landing gear to swing down into place so that maintainers can begin the MQ-9 reaper assembly process. The U.S. military always seeks to expand engagements and strengthen relationships with all regional allies and partner nations in the Indo-Pacific through activities such as subject matter expert exchanges, host nation visits, and joint exercises and operations such as Cope North.
