BARRIGADA, GUAM (Jan. 31, 2023) U.S. Naval Special Warfare operators and Marines assigned to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a military free fall (MFF) jump during training designed to strengthen Joint Force interoperability amongst forces deployed to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility. MFF allows special operators access to drop zones in denied areas far from the aircraft they jumped from. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
