David Snarr, 47th Flying Training Wing command chief (right), as he undergoes his final enlistment. “Reenlisting was a no-brainer,” said Snarr. “After 24 years in the Air Force, I have been blessed with a lot of great assignments and missions. I couldn’t have picked a better time or place to do it - here at Laughlin with Team XL. When it came to picking the officer to preside over my reenlistment, it was an easy decision to look at the first-assignment instructor pilot core. It’s been amazing getting the chance to learn about and see how our FAIPs operate and the vital role they play in our mission. Much like the enlisted are the core of our military, the FAIP core is the core of Laughlin’s undergraduate pilot training mission.”
