U.S. Marines with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group construct obstacles for a demolition range during Maritime Pre-Positioning Force Exercise (MPFEX) 23 on Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Florida, Feb. 12, 2023. MPFEX 23 is a military exercise allowing Marines and Sailors to work together offloading and processing military equipment from a single MPF ship, the USNS Bobo (AK-3008). During MPFEX 23 Marines and Sailors conducted various training exercises to conduct safe, efficient offloads while in a tactical environment to enhance the rapid and scalable deployment of naval expeditionary forces.
