GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Feb. 23, 2023) Force Master Chief Jason Knupp, left, stationed with Naval Surface Force Atlantic, discusses accession level training on the radar training set with Fire Controlman (Aegis) 2nd Class Asa D. Kinsey, an instructor at Surface Combat Systems Training Command Great Lakes, in the MILO simulator at Gunner's Mate "A" School during a visit to Naval Station Great Lakes accession training sites. The visit included touring facilities and engaged with Sailors at NETC schools for surface warfare, combat systems and shipboard casualty defense, including observing the latest in modernized training methods for hands-on ready relevant training. Knupp is slated to take the senior enlisted position as Command Master Chief for OPNAV N17, working with the 21st Century Sailor initiative.
