PANAMA CANAL (Feb. 19, 2023) – Operations Specialist 3rd Class Thomas Terns passes information through a headset in the pilot house of the Arleigh-Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) as the ship transits the Panama Canal, Feb. 19. USS Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter illicit-drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
