Capt. Mark Sakaguchi, commander Amphibious Squadron Three, greets staff members from the House Armed Services Committee aboard amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5). The HASC staff are aboard to learn about the capabilities of Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit in meeting national security strategy objectives. Peleliu is the flagship for the ARG currently underway conducting certification exercise with amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) and amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20).
