U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kowshon Ye, Headquarters Company, Regimental Combat Team 7, practices using a metal detector during the practical application portion of an improvised explosive device (IED) detection class at Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Oct. 15, 2012.
