230223-N-MD713-1005 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 23, 2023) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Alfredo Malovays, from Edinburg, Texas, powers on the hydraulics for a rescue hoist system on an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the "Swamp Foxes" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74, in the hanger bay aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). IKE, with embarked Carrier Air Wing 3, is underway conducting the Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) and Final Evaluation Problem (FEP) as part of the basic phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan.
