230225-N-GJ011-1018 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 25, 2023) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class, Gamaliel Cruzgarcia, from Dallas, replaces a wing panel on an F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet, attached to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105, in the hangar bay aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). IKE, with embarked Carrier Air Wing 3, is underway conducting the Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) and Final Evaluation Problem (FEP) as part of the basic phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan.
