EAATS serves as an Army National Guard aviation training site focusing on utility and cargo aircraft and supervises, develops and conducts programs of instruction as directed by the National Guard Bureau. On top of individual aviator qualification training, enlisted aviation training and noncommissioned officer education, EAATS also manages and operates flight simulation support for regional users and in support of formal courses of instruction. EAATS Soldiers also provide aero-medical services and, upon mobilization, augment U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command.
