Employees of Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division celebrated the Navy's 237th birthday with a 5K fun run around the David Taylor Model Basin. The model basin is one of the largest ship model basins in the world, and is a test facilities for the development of ship design. The U.S. Navy has a 237-year heritage of defending freedom and projecting and protecting U.S. interests around the globe.
