230222-N-EI510-0298 MARINE CORPS AIR STATION KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii (Feb. 22, 2023) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Robert Reynolds treats a simulated injury during a convening of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course (TCCC) for Sailors assigned to Submarine Readiness Squadron 33 at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Feb. 22, 2023. TCCC provides hyper-realistic training to reduce preventable combat deaths. During the course, Marines and Sailors train in a controlled, realistic environment that better prepares them to face the real-life physical and mental strain that casualties place on the unit and allows units to complete their mission by providing the best possible care to casualties while maintaining tactical integrity and warfighting capabilities. Submarine Readiness Squadron 33 provides quality operational support for Pearl Harbor homeported submarines, their crews, families, and the staffs of Submarine Squadrons 1 and 7.
