Lance Cpl. Tashi Dhondup, a supply warehouseman with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 6, left his home of Lhasa, Tibet, and moved to northern India to practice his religion. Now, Dhondup serves as a Marine and received his U.S. citizenship earlier this year.
