Marco Haas presents a bayonet to U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Scott Martin, 606th Air Control Squadron radio frequencies transmissions systems operator from Chico, Calif., during a ceremony at the 606th ACS Oct. 4, 2012. The bayonet belonged to U.S. Army Pfc. Clyde Sparks, the grandfather of Martin's wife, Jessica, who fought in Luxembourg during World War II. Martin accepted the bayonet on behalf of his wife's family, who were unable to attend the ceremony.
