Joshua Kumakaw, a Hemet, California native and graphics specialist with Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division, operates a small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) during flight training on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 24, 2023. Communication Strategy and Operations Marines are tasked with documenting military-related events through photography, videography, and graphics. sUAS is a new operating procedure put in place to enhance documentation of events such as reconnaissance and field exercises.
