A wounded veteran, who received medical treatment at Fort Sam Houston in 1993 after sustaining injuries in the Battle of Mogadishu, signed a Harley Davidson motorcycle specially commissioned to honor the sacrifices of those who fought in that conflict. Ed Ricord, the veteran who rebuilt the motorcycle, and his wife Laura Ricord plan to tour the country with the motorcycle to collect signatures from remaining veterans and Gold Star Families, culminating in a presentation of the signed motorcycle to the 10th Mountain Division on the 30th anniversary of the battle.
