Maj. Matthew Clark, commanding officer of the Canadian Armed Forces, music division, guest conducts the U.S. Navy Band at the 2023 American Bandmasters Association convention. Since the Association’s founding in 1928, the annual convention gathers music educators, composers and arrangers from across North America for three days of performances, education workshops, clinics and a culminating performance by one of the nation’s premier military bands. U.S. Navy Band members proudly represented the pride and professionalism of all Sailors serving around the globe while fulfilling the mission of the ABA; to advance the quality of the wind band, wind band repertoire, and provide professional development opportunities for members across North America.
