Master Sgt. Shane Bedard, Tactical Medicine Program Manager from the 141st Medical Group, accepts his award for non-commissioned officer of the year from Maj. Gen. Duke Pirak, Deputy Director of the Air National Guard, Brigadier General Gent Welsh, Commander of the Washington Air National Guard, and Chief Allen Lawson, Washington Air National Guard Command Chief, during the 14th annual awards banquet March 4, 2023, at the Spokane Convention Center. The 141st Air Refueling Wing hosted the event to recognize the achievements made by members of the Washington Air National Guard over the past year. Ten individuals, one flight, one squadron, and one recruiting flight were recognized and received the coveted eagle trophies for their respective categories.
