Kelsey Hastings, the first female Silent Drill Platoon commander, sat down for an interview with Wunderman Thompson, the advertising agency for the Marine Corps, to talk about the Silent Drill Platoon and her experience in the Marine Corps on March 5, 2023. Hastings is on tour in the Pacific Northwest with Marine Barracks Washington, which is part of a joint effort between Marine Barracks Washington and Marine Corps Recruiting Command designed to increase awareness of the Marine Corps and prepare the unit for the upcoming summer parade season at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., the oldest post in the Marine Corps.
