Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Jesse James stands with wife Kandi James during the Violence Behind Closed Doors And Children Exposed to Violence presentation at Weaver Auditorium, WOMACK Army Medical Center, Oct. 17, Fort Bragg, N.C. James was invited to the presentation to talk about his daughter, deceased 2nd Lt. Holley James an army nurse, who was killed by her husband in 2008. The purpose of the presentation was to encourage people living with domestic violence to seek help before it’s too late.
