The pastry dish designed by Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christine Stanley, 302nd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade under the 412th Theater Engineer Command, during her pastry chef of the year exercise at Fort Lee, Virginia, March 5, 2023. During the pastry chef of the year exercise, chefs have 90 minutes to prepare and plate their dish. Service members from all branches of the military and three international teams gather at Fort Lee to compete in the 47th Joint Culinary Training Exercise. Service members compete both individually and as teams to show off their skills in various culinary exercises.
